See Why Snoop Dogg Is The Latest Member To Join The Choir
2018 is the year of less talking and more doing for Snoop Dogg, the hip-hop legend has spoken about creating a gospel hip-hop album for awhile and now it’s finally coming to fruition.
He recently announced his debut gospel album, Bible of Love, which left hip-hop audiophiles everywhere going, “how Sway?” But it’s confirmed Doggfather will introduce us to his new music during Super Bowl 52’s 19 annual NFL Sanctioned Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. The concert will take place at the Benson Great Hall at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. The one-hour special will air on BET Saturday, Feb. 3, at 11 p.m. EST.
Bible of Love marks Snoops first dabble into spiritual music. The LBC icon has tapped gospel namesakes such as Tye Tributte, The Rance Allen Group and The Clark Sisters to join him in ushering in a night that fuses hip-hop with soulful gospel tranquility. Beyond witnessing Snoop’s newly minted inspirational lyricism, the NFL Players Choir will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
