Morning Motivation: “There’s more to life than making money and paying bills. Chase your purpose instead of your career.”

Scripture: Matthew 4:18-20: And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. hen He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Today’s sermon teaches us about the dangers of making work the center of our lives. It’s easy to get so consumed with the responsibilities of your job that you can lose the joy of living. The pressure to make money and climb the ladder can weigh you down to the point that you can’t imagine a better life. But a better life and a better world is possible. All you need is the faith that will allow you to see a vision of a different world.

The greatest joy of being a Christian is found in knowing that there is a life after this one. You don’t have to accept the things the way they are. Everyday you should be imagining, hoping, and working towards better. The condition of your present reality doesn’t define the condition of your next chapter. That’s why you have to make dreaming a daily practice. Your dreams keep you from becoming a prisoner to your own reality. Dream bigger today and let your vision of a new world set you free.

    1. Hang in there and stand on the Word of God. He said, He will supply all of your needs. Believe that! Continue to pray and thank Him in advance of the victory that has already been won.

    2. Let go and Let God! Your job is to keep your eyes on Jesus and let God worry about everything else. Your going to be just fine. He may not come when we need him, but I’m a witness he’s always right on time. I will be praying for you.
