Morning Motivation: “There’s benefits in fellowship. Don’t try to accomplish alone what God has given you community to achieve.”
Scripture: Numbers 6:22-27: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’ “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
The world can be a lonely place. We are trained to live in isolation, but our faith calls us to live in community. Today’s sermon talks about the importance of living and working together. You might be able to do a lot of great things by yourself, but if you haven’t tapped into the power of the community around you then you have no idea how great you can be. Don’t cut your potential short because you’re unwilling to ask for help. All of us could use a hand, and believe it or not, there are plenty of people out there who are willing to give you hand.
There’s no better way to start your day then by thinking about how you can build a team to help you accomplish your dreams. When we work and worship together it increases the power and the potential of whatever we’re doing. There is power in community. That’s why the Bible gives us so many instructions on how to live together in healthy and productive ways. And there is no doubt that God’s face will shine on all of God’s children when we come together to do God’s will.
