Morning Motivation: “You need an attitude that says I’m so sure of God that I’ll commit to God from now until I see Him face to face.”
Scripture: Daniel 6:10: Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Everyday it’s a good habit to remind yourself of your past experiences with God. You wouldn’t be alive today if God hadn’t kept you, sustained you, or provided for you in so many days past. As you think back over what God has already done it will strengthen your faith going forward. Getting God’s track record in the forefront of your mind will allow you to commit to God on a new level. Today’s sermon teaches us how to strengthen our level of commitment to God.
In a world where people are constantly questioning your identity and your goals it’s important to strengthen your faith. No one should be able to question your commitment to God’s plans for your life. But the reality is that as you pursue those plans the haters and the doubters will show up. There’s one easy way to overcome all the negativity people try to speak over your life. Just keep telling yourself what God has done. Remind yourself of God’s power in your life and as you rehearse those reminders you’ll activate the power God has placed inside of you. It’s time to create the attitude that will make you confident in your faith.
