The Brand Strategist Intern will be helping to develop initiatives around partnerships and will provide tactical and executional support to our marketing team. Projects would range from market research and analysis to creative marketing campaign creation and management.

Responsibilities:
• Combining internal analysis with ongoing market research and competitive landscape to advice partnerships and marketing opportunities for new and existing projects and campaigns.
• Compiling market research and analytic insights to create compelling content around the black religious audience.
• Participating in status meetings, client (preacher) and user calls.

Requirements:
• Upperclassman in college or a recent graduate; exceptional academic record and/or prior employment experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; ability to things strategically.
• Experience using PowerPoint to communicate effectively and visually.
• Comfortability with transforming complex data into structured, insightful solutions.
• Appreciation for black culture and black religious culture.

Full Stack Engineer

The Full Stack Editor would be a key member of our engineering team and would be responsible for ensuring that our users are able to access our content 24/7, writing and fixing code, and helping to sustain and improve our growing platform.

Responsibilities:

• Writing code for our website that supports our 1 million monthly users.
• Performing code reviews of work done by other team members.
• Writing tests and documentation to make sure code is robust.
• Helping to fix, debug, and diagnose issues in production and video streaming.

Requirements:
• 3+ years experience jQuery.
• Familiarity with PHP, Python, JavaScript.
• 2+ years experience with HTML5 and CSS.
• Deep understanding of the ROHO business and a general knowledge of financial concepts and budgeting/forecasting processes; capable of analyzing financial and marketing data to draw actionable conclusions.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision; ability to handle a heavy workload.
• Excellent analytic and communication skills.
• Experience with Linux and WordPress.

• Planning and developing analytics solutions that will provide forecasting data to improve our website.
• Developing a full understanding of the ROHO system in order to gain insight from our existing data and to recommend improvements.
• Defining and implementing new metrics and process improvements.

Requirements:
• Must be a college student, recent graduate, or graduate student and have a strong academic record.
• Majoring in Statistics, Math, Economics, Market Research, or Data Science
• Experience with coding and data mining/modeling.
• Strong understanding of statistics and a quantitative/analytical background.

News Editor

Responsibilities:
• Experience assigning, editing, and multitasking at an online pace; using data to help inform coverage choices.
• Comfortability using various multimedia tools (images, memes, gifs, video, etc) to tell a story
• Strong line-editing skills.
• Familiarity with black culture landscape, particularly religious.

Requirements:
• 2+ years experience as an editor at a publication or high-volume website.
• Knowledge of the current black news/black religious media environment and the ROHO brand.
• Excellent written/editing and verbal communication skills.

Experiential Marketing Manager/Brand Ambassador
Location: NYC/SF      Dept: Marketing/Sales     Type: Full Time     Min. Experience: 3 – 5 years

As the Experiential Marketing Manager/Brand Ambassador, you will travel to churches, conferences, and communities to tell ROHO’s story. From community groups, to standing in pulpits, to meeting with individuals, you will tell people how to use ROHO and why they should use it. You will also create strategic partnerships with pastors and decision makers in communities to expand ROHO’s partnerships and new business opportunities. In this role, you’ll not only show up to events but plan and execute experiential marketing events to attract and retain users. While all of that is happening, you’ll be snapping, Instagramming, and sending tweets to our Marketing team to support our social channels. When you are not traveling or posting to Facebook, you’ll be working directly with our CEO to plan the next strategic marketing event and outreach opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with church communities and groups across the country
• Plan and host community events across the country to market the ROHO brand and products

• Ensure the success of ROHO’s marketing events
• Coordinate all pre-and post-event communications, including invitations, confirmations, and thank yous
• Manage and track event guest lists including any metrics and analytics

Requirements:

• 3 – 5 year proven track record in marketing, using social media to expand the profile of a business, and event management experience
• Passion for travel – this position is at least 50% travel

Responsibilities:
• Gather insight from CEO to write and curate content for ROHO that will deepen user engagement and retention
• Curate inspirational content from our clients that captivate our target audiences, engages them, and encourages them to come back.
• Create and maintain content calendars for social platforms
• Develop and maintain relationships with inspirational bloggers and other industry influencers through proactive pitching

Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years of proven track record of marketing, communications and social media experience
